Talk To Your Children

Using the Parent and Teenage Handouts on this site as guides, you should consider discussing child trafficking with your children. If they attend daycare, school, church, play dates, sleepovers, etc. and/or they have access to the internet through a gaming system or other device, then they could be at risk for abuse.

  • Use age appropriate language

  • Give examples of what is inappropriate or abuse

  • Listen to your children and hear what they have to say

  • Tell your child they never have to fear talking to you

  • Be patient, supportive, understanding, calm and loving
